Clarinova’s FrontWindow Facebook App Helps Retailers Engage with Customers and Sell More Product

June 2, 2011, for immediate release:

Clarinova Inc., the developer of FrontWindow, announces the release of its Facebook application. The FrontWindow Facebook app is a free tool that makes it easier for retailers to connect with consumers and provide them content from brands. The FrontWindow Facebook app saves time, providing quick, easy access to engaging content from the brands retailers carry. In just minutes, retailers can browse, attach comments, and post great content to their Facebook pages.

“FrontWindow is a tool to enhance retailer/brand collaboration, and to help both parties increase their sales…we have included features that are as much a benefit to retailers as they are to the brands who pay for the service,” says Scott Yankton, President of Clarinova. “Our Facebook app is a super easy way for retailers to use content from the brands they carry to engage consumers and grow sales in a whole new way. It’s fast, easy, and best of all, the more they use it, the better retailers will rank in local Google searches for brands and their products. I can’t think of a more direct way to help support the retailers who are so crucial in growing brand awareness on a local level.”

Retailers who want to use Facebook to grow their sales love FrontWindow. As Mike Jacot, buyer for Central Coast Surfboards, explains: “FrontWindow has been putting us on top of local searches…faster than we realized…It only takes minimal effort on my part to upload new videos, set new stuff up…It’s creating a buzz on our website and Facebook because now people are looking at it and commenting.”

Filtrate Eyewear Dominates Local Search Using Front Window

Written by admin on May 28, 2011 in Brands, Facebook, Local Search, Press Releases, Retail - No comments

One of the ways that we are helping Filtrate Eyewear connect consumers to local shops that carry their product is through local search. By using Front Window, Filtrate ensures that when someone is online looking to buy their product locally, the retailers that carry their product will show up in search engines. I know that is a mouthful, but let me show you.

Filtrate Supports Local Retail!

This is an example of a local search for Filtrate. It shows someone who is looking online to see where they can find Filtrate’s products in Orlando. They want to know where they can buy Filtrate near them.

You can see that the very first organic result in Google is “Filtrate Eyewear at Catalyst Orlando.” This is the site we created for Filtrate and Catalyst Orlando.

Another example would be a consumer who is looking for a specific product. Say Filtrate ran an ad showing their new sunglass called The Brasco and I wanted to find that product. If I live in San Luis Obispo and searched “Filtrate Brasco in San Luis Obispo,” this is what I would find:

Again, the first result is a site we created, this time for Filtrate and Central Coast Surfboards. If you were to click on the first result “Filtrate Eyewear at Central Coast Surfboards,” you would go right to the Brasco product page, which looks like this:

L Space Signs Up To Use Front Window for Local Search

SWIMSUIT DESIGNER L*SPACE GUIDES CUSTOMERS TO RETAILERS
WITH FRONT WINDOW BY CLARINOVA

ENCINITAS, CA— In our internet-driven world, most brands still rely heavily on a thriving business at brick-and-mortar retailers. Sometimes nothing can compare to the experience of seeing a product, feeling the fabric and getting to experience the quality and fit. This is especially true for a company like L*Space, a fashionable women’s swimwear designer based in Orange County, CA.

“A woman’s shopping style varies when it comes to online or in-store preference, so it is our job as a brand to accommodate both,” says Debby Martin, National Sales Manager for L*Space. “Although we have a strong customer base with our online e-tailers, many of our customers prefer that tangible experience, thus relying heavily on our swimwear boutiques and specialty surf stores to provide that personable service,” continues Martin. “Even with the ease of the internet, I believe this customer will remain loyal to shopping in our retail stores and we would like to be the ones to guide them there!”

Keeping these small and medium-sized swimwear retailers busy is crucial to the success of L*Space. The company has found a new way to support its retailers by implementing technology that will drive foot traffic to stores that carry their brand. L*Space will use Front Window software from Clarinova to improve local web searches for its swimwear. Front Window technology will ensure that individual retailers are easily found and that their current inventory is available online.

Front Window software builds search engine optimized websites that are specially designed to improve local search results. These websites—which are built for the brand’s retailers—feature the latest product images and promotions for the brand along with the retail store’s information.

“Front Window is going to guide consumers to local retailers when they search for L*Space swimwear online,” explains Scott Yankton, President and COO of the start-up Clarinova Inc. “These customers are online doing searches for this brand, but they really want to purchase offline in retail stores.”

Yankton says that data shows over 90% of retail transactions still take place in brick-and-mortar stores and that most U.S. consumers are using search engines to research products and to find out where to buy locally. “To be competitive, businesses have to connect with consumers while they are online doing local searches,” says Yankton.

As part of its co-marketing support, Clarinova will promote all of the L*Space websites through local business directories, social media, email marketing, search engines and blogs to ensure that they are highly visible.

“We are excited to collaborate with our retailers and with Clarinova,” says L*Space’s Martin. “We realize we need to make local search marketing a priority for our business, and we have a partner who will get us there.”
